De well known GM Victor Bologan provides the user with a impressive made over six and a half hour video entertainment on the good old Reti Opening, where Reti wrote in 1920: As the opening is in general a struggle for domination in the centre the characteristic feature of every such new system will be a desire to direct pressure against the centre soon. The natural opening move in such a system is 1.Nf3 which directs pressure against the centre, prevents e5,and keeps open almost all possibilities for the first player.Masters of the Chessboard,R.Reti Bell and Son.
Bologan approach can not be compared with the thoughts of Reti,on 1.Pf3 g6 Bologan goes for 1.e4! If 1.Nf3 c5 2.c4 Nc6 3.Nc3 g6 4.d4.
All together there are 26 video files and 15 interactive testing positions to test your knowledge of the Reti!
